By Commuter Train to Johanna's Place
- Commuter trains K and N stop at Korso Commuter Train Station, which is close to my place (about 5-minute-walk).
- If you travel with a commuter train from Riihimäki or Lahti towards Helsinki, you have to change trains in Kerava. Take a commuter train K or N from Kerava to Helsinki.
- If you travel with a train from the west (from Turku, Kirkkonummi or Espoo), you have to change trains in Pasila. Take a commuter train K or N to Kerava.
- If you travel with a long-distance train from the north to Helsinki, you have to change trains in Tikkurila. Take a commuter train K or N to Kerava.
Commuter trains K
(Helsinki-Kerava & Kerava-Helsinki)
- Commuter trains K run every 20 minutes, in peak hours every 10 minutes.
- K-trains towards Kerava
You can take a K-train at the following train stations (travelling time to Korso in brackets): Helsinki (27 min) - Pasila (22 min) - Oulunkylä (18 min) - Malmi (15 min) - Puistola (12 min) - Tikkurila (9 min) - Hiekkaharju (7 min) - Koivukylä (4 min) - Rekola (2 min).
- K-trains towards Helsinki
You can take a K-train at the following train stations (travelling time to Korso in brackets): Kerava (7 min) - Savio (4 min).
Commuter trains N
(Helsinki-Kerava & Kerava-Helsinki)
- During low traffic (on Sundays and part of Saturdays) there are Commuter trains N running every 30 minutes.
- N-trains stop at every train station between Helsinki and Kerava.
- Travelling time Helsinki-Korso with an N-train is 30 minutes.
